Getting the best DAB+ reception
Extend the aerial
Fully extend your radio’s aerial and keep it upright. Small adjustments can make a difference to digital reception.
Try a window
Move your radio closer to a window and away from thick walls, other electrical equipment and basements.
Run a full scan
Select full scan or auto-tune after moving your radio. Look for Sunshine Soul in the updated station list.
Check for DAB+
Your set must support DAB+, not just the older DAB standard. Check the radio’s label or manual.
Listening in the car
Use a DAB+ compatible car radio and a suitable aerial. Reception can change as you travel, especially around hills and valleys.
Stream instead
If Sunshine Soul isn’t in your station list or reception is patchy, listen online over Wi-Fi or mobile data.
